This project addresses climate vulnerability and livelihood insecurity in northern Ghana by promoting dry season gardening and improved water resource management in climate-stressed rural communities.

Key Achievements

Establishment of community-managed dry season gardening schemes
Provision of irrigation infrastructure to support off-season vegetable production
Construction and fencing of gardening sites to reduce crop damage and farmer–herder conflicts
Training of beneficiaries in vegetable nursery establishment and agronomic practices
Formation and strengthening of garden management committees
Improved household food security and income, particularly among women
